How to Attain Your Real Estate License
1. Submit a State Application with Fingerprints
You can obtain a state application by visiting myfloridalicense.com.
Watson School of Real Estate partners with Mobile Fingerprinting to provide an optional opportunity to complete your fingerprinting during each class. Additional fees apply.
In order to apply, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have a valid Social Security number
Have a high school diploma or equivalency
Be able to answer questions regarding any criminal background if such exists
2. Pass the Pre-Licensing Course
Watson School of Real Estate offers the 63-hour pre-licensing course in both classroom and online settings. In order to pass, you’ll need to score at least a 70% grade.
Per state requirements, you can only miss eight hours of this course. Missed classes must be made up within 30 days of the scheduled course completion.
3. Pass the State Exam
The final step is the most important: passing the state exam! You’ll need to post a minimum 75% score to pass, and we’ve got the prep materials and courses to help you achieve that.
Keep in mind, your tuition for this course is good for one year. Take advantage of that unlimited review time!
